Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College?
I enrolled at HCC Coleman College to start my career in the healthcare field. I want to be an example to my son and make sure he knows you can do anything you set your mind to.

Also, I will be the first to graduate college in my family.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do in the medical field. After some research, the Medical Assistant program was a perfect way to find my path.

What do you like best about your college experience?
I love my professors the most. They make learning exciting and engaging.

What do you like best about your program of study?
I love how many resources we have available to make sure that we succeed.

When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
My family motivates me. Knowing that I have my son and husband not only counting on me but encouraging me to keep going makes the hard times easy.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Know your purpose. Know your heart. Know your strength.

Any final thoughts?
Don’t let money be your only motivator. Fall in love with the career you pick. Let it drive you to be the best version of yourself.
